In Memory of Donald Franklin
Passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024, at the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Ronald Franklin and the late Marion Franklin (nee Kilganon) and beloved husband to Patricia Franklin (nee Jackson). He leaves in sadness his adored sons Paul (Lise) and Michael (Paulette). Cherished grandfather to Dylan (Claire), Jessica (Dan), Bradley and great-grandfather to Charlotte and Sophie. He also leaves in sorrow his sister-in-law Ethelda, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Clarence and Clifford.
The family would like to thank the Ottawa Hospital General Campus especially the Cancer Centre for all their amazing care provided.
As per Donald’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
In memory of Mr. Franklin, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

I’m so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I have many good memories of when we were young, living in the Millhaven/Ernestown area and visiting his mom and dad’s place on Sundays. That always seemed to be the gathering place for everyone.
