In Memory of Desmond Curley
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Desmond “Des” Curley, peacefully, at St. Patrick’s Home, on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Diane. Loving father of Janice (Jean-François) and Jeffrey (Scott). Cherished grandfather of Aidan. He will be sadly missed by his brother David (the late Mary-Lou), his sisters: Anne (Roger), Marilyn (Denis) and Bernadette (Denis). His sister-in-law Elaine Girouard (Denis), his brother-in-law Danny Flowers (the late Sharon), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Teresa, as well as his brother Kenneth.
Des served as a school board trustee for the Ottawa Catholic School Board for 18 years. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim rd., Orléans, on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Dr., Orléans, on Friday, March 13th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Uppal and all of the staff from St. Patrick’s Home for their exceptional care and compassion.
