Condolences

I will miss your warm heart and cheerful laugh my friend. You were like a father to me, a mentor and a great friend.
Be at peace and take care of Madeline. Sing that special song (Take me Back) we used to enjoy, when you see her.
Missing you so much.

Love Always and Rest in Peace

We will always remember Uncle Denis as a great family man, and a hard worker. His love for his home province of Newfoundland was always on display. May he Rest In Peace.

Uncle Denis will always be remembered as a hard worker and one who always put his family first. He enjoyed coming home to Newfoundland to visit and would always be interested in going down to the wharf in St. Bride’s to look at the boats. Sending our sincere condoleneces

My brother Denis left NL as a young man and made a great life for himself and his family in Ottawa thanks to his hard work and determination. We have many great memories of his visits home which we will always treasure. We can all take some comfort in knowing that he is finally reunited with Madeline.

To Uncle Denis’s immediate and extended family:
We are so sorry for your loss.
I would always try and see your dad when he was visiting in Newfoundland, and residing at mom and dad’s home. Mom also has many fond memories of those visits and their childhood in Patrick’s Cove. Mom has shared stories of his ingenuity in earning money that he would then share with his siblings so they were able to attend and enjoy the renowned Garden Parties.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
On behalf of myself, Chris, Grant and his sibling Lucy.

To our extended Mcgrath family. We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Denis passing . I remeber whenever he was around us there was always a smile on your face, his sense of humour, laughter and kind heartedness will never be forgotten. Rest in peace dear uncle

My sincere condolences to the family. I know he was loved, I worked with Paula and she spoke of him often. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Deny, unsure on the spelling, but it’s certainly how I always referred to him and how his nieces and nephews referred to him as well. The visits to Ottawa with my mom/dads annual Toronto trips we’re always eventful especially when Uncle Deny and the entire family were involved.. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do to accommodate. He loved company and whether that involved a trip to the casino or just sitting around and talking about days gone by and how things have changed he was a pleasure to spend time with. Perhaps a few yarns were also created. Such an amazing father and a great provider. While life gets busy and visits become fewer the memories last forever.. Rest in piece Uncle Deny

I so sad to hear of the passing of Dennis Mcgrath,My thought & prays go out to the family………Its been a long time but I remember a kind & gentle man!! R.I.P Dennis……..
