In Memory of David Ritchie

RITCHIE, David William Alexander of Rockland died suddenly yet peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the age of 56 in Orleans. Welcomed with exceeding joy into this life on January 24, 1963 in Barrie, Ontario, the beloved first child and only son of proud parents Donald (“Don”) & Pauline Ritchie (nee Sinclair). Dave will be deeply missed by his cherished bride of 31 years Catharine (“Cathy”) (Lockyer) and their two children Rebecca and Parker. Precious brother of Christine (Glen) Parkinson. Adoring uncle of Austin, Josephine, Dorothy, and Vera. Dear son-in-law of Sandra and Alastair Sinclair. Dave will be forever missed by his family, his wealth of friends, and his many colleagues at Orleans Boat World where he worked devotedly as Parts Manager. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 to noon on Tuesday, December 17 at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Ottawa (Orleans). A remembrance service will follow from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the service until 2:30 p.m. Interment at Dales Cemetery in Ottawa (Cumberland), Ontario.
