In Memory of Cécile Fortier

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cécile Fortier (nee Bazinet) at Laurier Manor, on April 29th, 2019, at the age of 84.

Daughter of the late Joseph Bazinet and the late Clara Godard. Beloved wife of Reynald Fortier. Loving mother of Francine, the late Nicole, Daniel (Carole), Lorraine (Richard), Jean Paul and Luc (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Valérie, Manon, Josée, Tania, Matthew, Pascal, Zachary and great-grandmother of Camille and Sébastien. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings : Aurélia, S.S.C.J., Dolores Castonguay (Hervé), Lionel (the late Jeannine), Marie-Jeanne Piché (Marcel), Pauline, S.S.C.J., Gabrielle Gour (Claude), Françoise Lafrance (Ronald), Louise Hacquard (Hector), Florian (Lucie) Rhéal (Debbie), Aurel (Diane), Rosaire (Rita) and François (Colette) ; her brothers-in-law : René (Gabrielle Labrèche) and Paul (Carole Goulet).

Predeceased by her siblings Liliane (the late Fernand Laflèche and the late Léo Lalonde), Ernest (Jeannine), Germaine, Léo (Aline) and Monique ; her siblings-in-law : Rolland, Rhéo, Annette (the late Réal Brisson), Emery (Cécile Giroux) and Aline Brunet (Denis).

The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of Laurier Manor for the exceptional care and compassion shown towards our mother.

Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Thursday, May 9th, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Joseph Church, 2757 St-Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Friday, May 10th, 2019 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception
