In Memory of Carole Champagne-Wallace

“When we are filled with gratitude in all parts of our lives,… everything is  perfect! We no longer complain as before! Things are as they should be, and we must accept them and do our best!” – Carole Champagne Wallace

Gratitude embodies a deep sense of thankfulness and appreciation for tangible and intangible blessings in our lives. It celebrates the present and treasures the memories of the past, finding joy in what has been. This feeling does not dwell on loss or regret; but rather it cherishes the moments that have shaped us. By embracing gratitude, we transcend the fear of death, recognizing that while it is a certainty, it cannot erase the richness of our experiences. Ultimately gratitude liberates us, reminding us of the joy that exists in our memories.

Carole of Ottawa ON, died in her home on Tuesday the 5th of November 2024, age 71, with her children by her side.  Beloved wife to the late Andrew Wallace. Devoted mother to Kenny (Victoria), Adrienne (François), Nicole, Fionna, Joanne, and Patrick. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren Dylan, Fionn, Félix, Zoé, Arielle, Mira, William, and Marion. She will be missed by her sister’s Jocelyne (Joseph), Diane (Dave), and brother Daniel (Kelly). Predeceased by her parents Fernand Champagne and Pierette Hébert.

Carole was surrounded with infinite love and an outpouring of support until the end. Her remarkable journey has left a lasting impact on countless individuals around the world. We remember Carole- a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and influencer – filled with profound gratitude, joy, love and light.

A celebration of Carole’s life will be held in Ottawa at the Blackburn Arms Pub Restaurant (2586 Innes Road) from 1-4 pm on Friday 29th of November 2024.

To my dearest sister, Carole,
It’s with a heavy heart to announce your passing. I will always cherish you, our spontaneous shopping trips, our friendship and our endless conversations.
I miss you, I always will.
But even though you’re no longer physically with me, I know that you will always be with me in my heart.
The special years will not return.
But you will walk with us forever.
😢🪽🦋❤️⭐️🕊️

Our deepest condolences on the sad news of Carole’s passing. She was a vibrant lady full of life and adventures. It gives comfort knowing she is finally at peace and without pain.

Thinking of you all during this difficult time,
John and Moya Parish
