In Memory of Carmen “née Lajoie” Lafortune

Passed away surrounded by her daughters, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Lomer Lafortune. Loving mother of Carole (Roger Emard) and Christine (Jeffrey McCormick). Cherished grandmother of Alexandre Emard (Karine Génier) and Frédéric Emard. She will be sadly missed by her sister Lucette Charbonneau ; her siblings-in-law Ernest Lafortune, Ruth McAuliff, Claire Laflamme and Marjolaine Lafortune, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her sister Lucille Charbonneau. At the request of the family, a private ceremony will be held on Monday August 8th 2016 at 1p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd. (corner of Taylor Creek Dr.), Orléans. The family would like to thank the staff at Foyer St. Jacques of Embrun for all her care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Canada would be appreciated.
