In Memory of Beatrice Paul

The family of Beatrice Manon (Paul) Gicho is devastated to announce her passing on the evening of April 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She will be fondly remembered by her devoted husband, Anthony (Tony) Gicho Waweru and her two loving sons William Waweru Gicho (7) and Jeremiah Baraka Gicho (2.5). She will also live on in the hearts of Josette Lafontant (mother), Luc Casseus (father), Daryl Casseus (brother), Fritz Paul (father), Fitzgerald Paul (brother), Sophie Paul (sister), Nancy Lafontant (cousin), Zavier Scanlon (nephew), Gerty Lafontant (cousin), Robens Lafontant (cousin), Reuben Waweru (father-in-law), Esther Waweru (mother-in-law), Wambui Waweru (sister-in-law), Imani Kairigo (niece), and Waithira Waweru (sister-in-law). Her family and friends from Canada, the United States, Haiti and Kenya were all a great source of support and comfort during her struggle with cancer. Her faith in God never wavered and we know she is with him now. The family wishes to send a special thanks to the members of her medical and care team, Veronica, Nima, Christine, Anouka, and Stephanie, who gave her incredible care, compassion and friendship over the past two and half years.
