Condolences

Maserji your laughter lit up my entire holiday when I came to canada and I will never forget feeling the warmth of your love. I will love and cherish every moment we had together and I am so thankful my masi has you in her life 🫶🏽

One more story – when Bhai and I went to Canada in 1991 Chacha Avtar rented a car for us. We didn’t have credit cards in those days so only had cash. All we could afford was rent a wreck. Well we hadn’t even got out the driveway and the drivers side window fell through. We thought ok it still works let’s give it a go. Driving to Quebec it starts to rain and guess what yes the wind screen wipers didn’t work. We finally get to Quebec City and pull Into a gas station and the damn thing wouldn’t restart so we left it there, much to the owners despair. A shit trip did result in Matt asking me to marry him in Quebec City and Avtar Chacha got us our money back. Our hero!

I remember visiting Malaysia as teenagers. I think it was our first trip after we left for the UK. Chacha Avtar was fun took us in his lorry along with Chacha Gurnam. Went to beach at PD and Pantai waterfalls with the whole family. Nothing was too much trouble. Always felt very special around them. They treated us so well so loving. Wonderful memories of them. Will stay with me.

My only and fond memory of him was the trip to Jaspreets engagement. He drove us down to the port to take a trip to Langkawi. Then in Penang he wanted to have a dinner by the sea where he could hear and feel the sound of the waves. We had a great dinner! Back in the villa, it sounded as though Avtar Chacha was giving birth on the toilet and @⁨Bebbi Bhuller⁩ and I were in tears of laughter…… you will be sorely missed x

I remember him as a young boy in Seremban, his funny humour and his clip on sunglasses. I remember in Shah Alam, his 8 track player and speakers blasting music in his truck. I remember him sending a picture from Canada under a bakery sign that said Pain Chaud. I remember his visit to Singapore many years laters, we had a great night out and sang Chand Mera Dil on stage with an Indian band. Nothing but good memories of this lovely man. Rest In Power Chaca ji. A legend in my heart forever.

Thank you for everything you’ve helped me with bhaiji. When I lived in Ottawa, times were tough but you provided the support as a brother/dad to me and reassured that all will be okay. I’ll never forget how caring you have been and helpful. It was such fun times as we did things together as a family when the children were little. They used to come and stay at mine and those were the fun times. I prayed that you would have a peaceful passing and you did. That’s all I could ask. Forever in my heart❤️

Well We spent a lot of time together in M’sia & Montreal,Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦 well we all going to Miss you brother 🙏🙏

I miss you and love you so much, dad. I will always remember you as the man who touched the ocean twice, he who was able to fix anything and your love for our Ottawa Senators. Safe travels on your journey. I will take a peice of you with me in everything I do!

My lovely Chacha….hope youre in the company of saints and in the presence of waheguru. I just wanted to say how lucky ive been to have you as my uncle. If one could peer into your heart they would find abundant love, kindness and joy! You always had the GURU within!
