In Memory of Antoinette Marguerite (Anne) Lavigne
(nee Mulligan)
With heavy hearts we share the loss of our beloved mom and mamie, on February 13, 2025. She was young at heart and reached a golden age. Loving mother of Carole Lavigne (Serge) and Joanne Lacasse (Peter). Cherished grandmother of Natasha, Mélanie (Nicholas) as well as great-grandmother to Mila. Dear daughter of late Edmond Mulligan and of the late Rose Lefebvre. Wife of the late Marcel Lavigne.
Mom was the last sibling of the Mulligan family. She was predeceased by her siblings William, Maurice, Leonard, Roger, Pauline, Ernie, Bernadette and Lilliane.
A memorial service will be held at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans on March 8, 2025. The family will receive condolences starting at 10:00 am followed by a mass at 11:00 am. A reception will follow.
For those that wish to do so as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a hospital of your choice in Ottawa.
The family would like the thank the personnel of the Ottawa, Montfort and Bruyère hospitals for their care.
We know mom is dancing and singing with the angels in heaven.

C’est avec le cœur lourd que nous vous partageons que notre maman et mamie bien-aimée nous a quittée le 13 février 2025. Jeune de cœur, elle a atteint l’âge d’or avec élégance. Elle fut la maman aimante de Carole Lavigne (Serge) et Joanne Lacasse (Peter), la grand-mère chérie de Natasha et Mélanie (Nicholas) ainsi que l’arrière-grand-mère de Mila. Elle était la chère fille de feu Edmond Mulligan et de feu Rose Lefebvre. Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Marcel Lavigne.
Maman était la dernière de la famille Mulligan. Elle fut prédécédée par ses frères et sœurs : William, Maurice, Léonard, Roger, Pauline, Ernie, Bernadette et Lilliane.
Un service religieux aura lieu au Complexe funéraire Héritage, 1250, ch. Trim, Orléans, le 8 mars, 2025. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 10h. Le service sera célébré en la chapelle du même endroit à 11h. Une réception suivra.
Pour ceux et celles qui le désirent, vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à un centre hospitalier d’Ottawa de votre choix.
La famille désire remercier le personnel des hôpitaux d`Ottawa, Montfort et Bruyère pour les bons soins.
Nous savons que Maman danse et chante avec tous les anges au paradis.

My profound condolences. I’m so sorry Joanne that you and Carole must say goodbye to your dear mother. As my aunt she truly was an amazing woman who singlehandedly raised you and your sister. I have very fond memories of my childhood spent at your house, where there was always music playing and without a doubt, you and Carole dancing (your mom joining in at times). Your mother always liked her cars and sported many great vehicles including her GTO. I’m sure that your mom was most grateful for you and Carole’s commitment to care for her in her later years.
