In Memory of Alice Desjardins
Passed away peacefully Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Desjardins. Loving mother of Linda (late Moe), Brian (Jenny) and Brenda (Luc). Cherished grandmother of Patrick, the late Shawn, Kevin, Joce, Nic, Mitchell and Tristan. Great-grandmother of Hayley, Brook, Paige, Abby, Jack, Alex, step-grandmother to Grant and great-step-grandmother to Liam. Great-great grandmother to Adelynn, Raya and Blake. The family will have a closed private service as per wishes. Donations in memory of Alice can be made to Heart and Stroke or The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. We want to offer our deepest condolences to Alice’s family. She was a woman who loved her family deeply and was loved as deeply by her family. She touched many lives and was a mother and grandmother to many outside of her family.

Alice and her husband were such a sweet couple. I remember going to their house for Thanksgiving which was bussling with all the family. Alice was in the kitchen over a large pot of gravy and tending to all the many delicious foods to be served. Never a fluster or complaint passed her lips. She modeled for all of us what it was like to serve and love unconditionally. She was a great Great Grandmother to my Grandkids for which I am very thankful!

My Condolences to Desjardins Family …I knew Alice from far away .I was impressed with her ability to work , humility ,kindness and determination . Hearing Linda’s story about recent time shared recently was very touching .. The power of love was very evident ..
