A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Sandra Odoysk (nee Carvish)
Sadly passed away after a brief illness on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 at the age of 77.
She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Eileen Carvish, and her son Stephen. Sandra is survived by her cherished daughter Natalie (Marc Péladeau) and much loved sister Deborah Carvish. Former spouse of Fredric. Lifelong friend of Ruth and Bert Lewis.
Sandra was a devoted stay at home mom for many years, returning to the workforce in administration with Sport Canada and then Nasittuq Corporation. She also enjoyed many years as a member of the Blackburn Chorus.
Many thanks to the wonderful nursing staff at the Montfort Hospital ICU for taking such great care of mom.
Sandra will be dearly missed by those who loved her, but she will rest peacefully, among family, at Capital Memorial Gardens. A celebration of her life will be held in Ottawa at a future date.
As an expression of sympathy contributions to the Stephen Odoysk Memorial Scholarship at the University of Ottawa Physics department would be deeply appreciated by the family.
I met Sandy about 55 years ago and she was my former sisterinlaw. Unfortunately I lost touch with her. My memories of her….kind, sweet, caring. A genuine person. Deanna Dyck Burton
