À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Paul Lavergne

Paul Lavergne, passed away peacefully on November 16th at the age of 54, after living for many years with muscular dystrophy. He is survived by his father, Marcel Lavergne, and nieces Sydney and Ashley Houle.

Paul faced the challenges of his muscular dystrophy with quiet determination. We remember Paul for his unique outlook on the world, and the independence he worked hard to maintain for as long as he could.

His challenges shaped him in ways we could only understand from afar, but they also demonstrated a strength that deserves to be honored.

The family is grateful to have been able to be with Paul in his final moments, and are comforted to know he joined his sister, Carol Houle (née Lavergne) and mother, Alice Lavergne (née Poulin) in heaven. Paul can now peacefully do all the things he couldn’t in this lifetime with no limitations or restrictions. 

The family extends gratitude to the caregivers and medical staff who supported him over the years.

A private remembrance will be held at a later date. May he rest in peace.
