It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael Makela, on April 13th, 2022 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of the late Diane Makela. Loving father of Vivian (Sean Richer), the late Shawn, Thomas (Rachel Mainville), Lori-Ann and Madeline (Collin Hines). Cherished grandfather of Priscilla, Katherine, Skyler, Amanda, Austin, Diana, Travis, Noah, Colton, Wyatt and of 5 great-grandchildren.
Michael was a dedicated transport driver to National Grocers for 35 years, was a lover of music and a grand classic car enthusiast.
A private celebration of life will be held in his honour. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
