:Lois Pilon was a wonderful friend of mine. In our early ages we first met in the Black Burn Hamlet.
We both had young children, luckily close in age and their play ground was at always at one of our homes!
It gave :Lois and I a chance to chat over a cup of tea.
Years later we moved to Toronto but kept in touch often with visits.
Thankfully we drove to Ottawa last summer especially to see Lois at the Senior home.
Dear Lois with us……we recalled so many memories about those long ago days.
Lois, I will always remember you.

We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Lois only today. Unfortunately, we then missed her Celebration of Life yesterday. Lois was our neighbour while we lived on Lauzon St and she was on Sunland Dr. Our daughter use to love putting her frogs she found in Lois’s backyard fish pond. Lois was a wonderful neighbour and person. She will be sadly missed. I was fortunate to be able to see Lois on April 16th, her 94th birthday with our mutual neighbour Francine. We had a great visit that day. RIP Lois. Our sincere condolences to Scott, Brad, Jamie, Gretchen and extended family.

112 16Apr24 visit to see Lois Pilon she turned 94 today our old neighbour on Lauzon St Promenade Suites in Orleans

I just saw this notice in a recent edition of the Orleans Star. If I had seen it in time I would have attended her Celebration of Life. Lois attended Navan Vars United Church for many years. She was lovely with a happy personality. She contributed in many ways, always willing to help with church functions. We missed her when she moved to residence in Orleans. Sincere condolences to her family.

I am sorry to just be reading this. Lois was a dear friend and I have many fond memories of her when we worked together in Ottawa, and after her retirement. Rick and I moved to Nova Scotia is 2012 and Lois came for a visit a few years later. I will miss chatting with her on the phone. She was a dear friend. Rest in peace Lois 💕💐
