A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Kurt Sauf

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kurt Sauf on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, at the age of 90 years.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Lisa of 65 years.  Dear father to Matina (Yves); Opa to Alexandra (Rico) and Stéfan (Franziska); great-grandfather to Zachary and Janelle.

Kurt loved to garden, travel and go to Florida for the winter with his wife, Lisa.  He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren, tending to his garden, going on beach vacations and celebrating holidays as a family.  Since the loss of his wife earlier this year, Kurt found joy in the visits with his great-grandchildren.  He was a proud man who never gave up nor wanted to show weakness.  With his daughter and granddaughter by his side, Kurt left this world much the same way.  His family finds peace in knowing that he has joined Lisa and that they are now together again.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital in honour of Kurt would be kindly appreciated.
