It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan Joseph Le Royer at the age of 34 years. He was the cherished son of Lisa Le Royer and Andrew Hine and brother of Dylan Hine.
He leaves in sadness his grandparents: Linda Hoyle (nee Wheelwright), Terry Hoyle and Clair Hine (nee Hayden). He will be sadly missed by his uncle: Mike Le Royer, Marc Le Royer, Joe Hine, Phil Hine, Rick Manual, Lyle Shaw, and his aunts: Tammy Shaw (nee Hoyle), France Charbonneau, Christine Cockcroft, Pat Hine and Debbie Desjardins. He also leaves in sorrow his adored cousins: Ben Le Royer, Nathan Le Royer, Shane Le Royer, Melissa Charbonneau, Shannon Gorman (nee Hine), Chris Hine, Daniel Hine, Mark Manual, John Manuel, Justin Hine, Liam, and Kendra Shaw, as well as many friends. Predeceased by his grandpa Les Hine and his aunt Janet Manuel (nee Hine).
Jon was a loving, caring, person with a unique personality. He never had an unkind word to say and would give anything he had to anyone in need. He enjoyed Asian culture, art, and music. He was passionate for a good board or video game with anyone willing to play a formidable opponent. He had such an abundance of love and joy for his family. He will be lovingly missed by all. May we all feel surrounded by his love.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life in his honor on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2 p.m. at 112 Blue Jay Drive, Rockland, Ontario.
It is with sadness that we read this memorial.
Though unable to attend the celebration of life, our heartfelt condolences go to family members.

It is with a very heavy heart that we send our condolences to you all. Although we have been separated by the military for many years , we fondly remember all the kids playing together. I’d loved all the times we’d celebrated Valentine’s Day and birthdays with dinner and a movie or just hanging out and playing video games. I’m going to miss those time but most of all I am going to miss you the most until we meet again my friend let’s play all the videos games you’d like.

I was going through my Highschool yearbook today when I thought of looking up John to see what he had gotten up to. He and I were friends in Highschool and I remember him mentioning wanting to get into astronomy, I had hoped to read if he had actually done it. I am sad to hear of his passing and I am sorry for your loss.
Just know finding out and was wondering where you have been. I just spoke to you days before your passing and i wondered where you have been just thought you was going thru somethings at home or taking a break from gaming but this is really sad… RIP Buddy!
