John Michael Robinson born August 27, passed away at the age of 91 in Ottawa, Ontario on June 7, 2019.

John Michael Robinson was born in the United Kingdom to Gertrude and Sidney Robinson. He was a proud member of the British military and served his country with commitment and incredible bravery. He was an honorable man that was loved and cherished by those around him. He stood out from a crowd and was never afraid to be himself or express his opinion. He had a magnetic personality and lite up a room. Charisma is something that he radiated and he was a pleasure to be around. He was a natural born storyteller and captivated those around him.

Above all else, he was a husband and a romantic that would do anything for his wife Eileen. His wedding anniversaries meant the world to him, and his relationship with his wife Eileen was more heartwarming and romantic than any romantic movie I have ever seen. They had an old-fashioned kind of love built on pure love, commitment and humour. They were best friends and he took care of her until his last breath. He was a wonderful father, brother, granddad and friend to many.

He is survived by his loving wife Eileen, children Linda and John, Granddaughter Eileen, great grandson Lincoln and Sisters Jose and Val.

He lived a big life and left a lifetime of wonderful memories that his family will cherish forever. We are proud to have been a part of your journey and love you whole-heartedly. Until we meet again, we will be missing you. Cheers to the most wonderful man.
