À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE James Scales
It is with deep sorrow and sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of James Donald Scales (1969 – 2020).
He is survived by his parents, David and Carol, his sisters Tracey (Vic) and Debra (Rob); Uncle to his niece Kimberly (Adam); nephews Michael (Candace), Jack and Ben; great nephews William and Harrison; and was looking forward to meeting baby Royer who will be welcomed into the world later this year.
James loved going to hockey games, listening to music and watching movies. He was a kind-hearted soul, who always tried to make people around him feel special. He impacted all those who knew him in a positive way, and he will be deeply missed by family, friends and his work family at the Ottawa Hospital.
A memorial / celebration of life service will begin at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, in Orleans. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in James’ name to Diabetes Canada.

It has been five years since you left us old friend. From the time we first met in 1991, untill the time of your passing we had many adventures over the years. I remember when you had first started your career at the hospital, and the day you were diagnosed with diabetes. The pool games the drives the movies the cards so many fond memories. And the early breakfast at your parents place where I went through my soap opera knowledge with your mom. Contune to watch over us man. 😎👐
