A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Earl Galloway

It is with heavy hearts that Sharlene Blaedow and Paul Galloway announce that Earl Galloway, of Orleans, Ontario, passed away at home surrounded by his family and his best friend Rocky on February 15, 2018. He went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Hope Perrin (2009) at the age of 95.

He was born May 27, 1922, in Cumberland, Ontario, the son of the late Margaret and the late James Galloway. He outlived all his siblings: Theresa Daly, Nina Scott, Benny, Lloyd, Manson, Jimmy; as well as in-laws. He is survived by sister-in-law Margery Perrin.

He married Hope Perrin on April 13, 1963. They were married for 46 years. He took over his father’s farm in Cumberland until 1971, and then moved to Orleans where he was employed by the Carleton School Board as custodian until his retirement.

Earl will be missed by his daughter, Sharlene Blaedow of Orleans Ontario, son and daughter-in-law, Paul Galloway and Josée Bray-Galloway of Russell, Ontario; stepdaughter and son-in-law Gail Perrin and Bill Symmonds of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Matthew Blaedow, Rebekah Blaedow, Valérie Galloway, Eric Galloway, Melissa Galloway, Ian (Eveliene) Symmonds and Graeme (Anna) Symmonds; and great-grandchildren Justin, Kaylin and Isabella. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Community Pentecostal Church, 1825 St Joseph, Orleans, Ontario. The family will be greeting family and friends at 10:00 am followed by the ceremony at 11:00 am.

Paul and Sharlene would like to thank Karen for all her help with their father and the paramedics who responded to the call on February 15, 2018. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at : www.heritagefh.ca
