A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Denise Cénatus (née Nelson)

Following a life of dedication to her faith and family, Denise peacefully went home to God and the promise of eternal rest on Sunday October 3, 2021.

Predeceased by her cherished husband Raymond and daughter Margareth; she was the beloved mother of Marie-Carmelle (Jean-Claude Metellus), Raymonde (Claude Hogarth), Alix, Ginette, Eddy (Marjory Zephyr), Danielle, Marjorie (Gardy Lavertu), and James. Doting Grand-Mother to Patricia (Sergio Duenas), Maxime, Meddgine, Francesca, Claudiane, Nathalie (Ryan Guthrie), Raymond, Aurore, Michael, Cynthia (Phillip McNelles), Alexandre, Patrice, Charmaly, Jennifer (John Andersson), Frantz, Martine, Andy, Eddy Jr., Samantha, Ashley, Lynneha and Mendjaly. Proud Great-Grandmother to Ariana, Vicente, Isabel, Brittany, Mahleek, Mattheo, Alyssa, Amari, Isaiah, Kayla, Maya, Janessa, Giovani, Kyron, Jane, Romelio, and Victor. She will be lovingly remembered and forever in the hearts of her large extended family and many friends.

The family wishes to thank the Floor 7 East Care Team, and the Palliative Care Staff of the Ottawa General Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation (cdhf.ca) would be greatly appreciated.

Due to current COVID-19 safety restrictions, information for virtual attendance to a private celebration of life ceremony will be shared by invitation only.

Prédécédée par son cher époux Raymond et sa fille Margareth ; elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants bien-aimés : Marie-Carmelle (Jean-Claude Metellus), Raymonde (Claude Hogarth), Alix, Ginette, Eddy (Marjory Zephyr), Danielle, Marjorie (Gardy Lavertu), et James. Ses petits-enfants adorés :  Patricia (Sergio Duenas), Maxime, Meddgine, Francesca, Claudiane, Nathalie (Ryan Guthrie), Raymond, Aurore, Michael, Cynthia (Phillip McNelles), Alexandre, Patrice, Charmaly, Jennifer (John Andersson), Frantz, Martine, Andy, Eddy Jr., Samantha, Ashley, Lynneha et Mendjaly. Ainsi que ses arrières-petits « bouts de choux » : Ariana, Vicente, Isabel, Brittany, Mahleek, Mattheo, Alyssa, Amari, Isaiah, Kayla, Maya, Janessa, Giovani, Kyron, Jane, Romelio, et Victor.

Elle demeure avec amour et à jamais, dans le cœur de sa grande famille élargie et de ses nombreux amis(es).

La famille tient à remercier l’équipe de soins du 7e étage Est et le personnel des Soins Palliatifs de l’Hôpital Général d’Ottawa.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Fondation canadienne de la santé digestive (cdhf.ca) seraient grandement appréciés.

En raison des restrictions de sécurité liées à la COVID-19, les informations pour une participation virtuelle aux funérailles privées, seront partagées uniquement sur invitation.
