A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Barbara Catherine « nee Cook » Coleman

Succumbed after a short illness, on October 12, 2016. Loving and devoted wife of Chuck and mother of daughters Karen (Jordan Smith) and Carol (Todd Nowlan). Proud, adoring and doting grammie of Jasmine, Blake, Alex, Olivia and Annie. Barbara was a very successful real estate agent for over forty years. While Barbara was passionate about her career, her heart was always with her family. The family expresses their thanks to the doctors and staff at the Ottawa Cancer Centre and Bruyere’s Palliative Care unit,as well as to staff at the CCAC.

Heartfelt gratitude goes to Dr. Colleen Mir and her nurse, Sharon, for their extraordinary care and kindness. A private remembrance and celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date. In memory of Barbara, donations to the Cancer Research Society or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated, as would your gift of a random act of kindness to someone who needs it.
