A LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Anne Jean Lannin (Henderson)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Lannin, our loving and devoted wife, mother, granny and best friend.
With her family by her side, she left us peacefully on October 21 2021 at the age of 66 years in Ottawa, Ontario.
Anne left behind her husband Earl of 47 years. Those years were filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She also left her children Connie Dougherty (Scott Dougherty) and Penny Ruddy (Christopher Ruddy); her Grandchildren Greydon, Rylen, Cameron and Alexa, who she absolutely adored. Anne was as a beloved sister to Ruth Henderson and Donald Henderson (Janice). A cherished sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and a generous friend.
The family will be holding a visitation on Wednesday October 27th 2021 from 7pm to 9pm. The celebration of life service will be Thursday October 28th at 1 p.m. Both events to be held at The Heritage Funeral Complex at 1250 Trim Rd Orleans

Earl and your entire family: Michael and I are so sad to hear this news. We have such fond memories from Mississippi Lake, many laughs for sure and I always thought she was the best grandmother ever …. always one or all of them were visiting. I know she will be missed by all, but her love will never die. She will be in our prayers.

Our sincere condolences to all of you and your families. Anne was an amazing woman!!! She loved her daughters and grandchildren more than life itself. She was a devoted gramma. I loved sitting beside her at the rink. I felt like I was sitting beside my mom!!! She was fabulous and will be missed dearly by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Earl, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Anne. My sincere condolences to you and the family. Although I never met Anne, I am sure that she must have been a very special and loving person to you over the 47 years that you were together. It is never easy to lose a loved one and I hope that the memories of her will help you through this time of grief and into the future.
We were all shocked and greatly saddened to hear of Anne’s passing. All of her life, she was one of the nicest people that I have known. Wish we had kept in touch after she left Calgary. Our condolences go out to Earl and the family.

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened! This news is heartbreaking. I have always loved how closed knitted you all are and love each other. I admire that. Anne had the best smile and sense of humour and always made us feel welcome and loved my Aunt Jean and all of us. My condolences for the loss of an amazing woman.
